Our current dealership verification process, what it checks, and its limits.
What verified means
A dealership is marked verified after we confirm a real Canadian business address, an active operating website or phone number, and an authorized administrator account on the platform. Verification is a signal of legitimate operation, not an endorsement of every listing they publish.
What verification does not certify
Verification is not a substitute for your own due diligence: it does not certify current OMVIC/AMVIC/VSA/OPP status, does not audit financial disclosures, and does not guarantee inventory accuracy in real time.
Ongoing review
Verified status can be revoked at any time for policy violations, misrepresentation, or repeated complaints.
